Tutor with us

Help an adult in your community gain skills and confidence that change their life. No teaching experience is needed. Our volunteer tutors receive training and are matched one-on-one with a learner, usually committing to at least one year.

What we offer

Work with a trained volunteer tutor to build reading, writing, spelling, and comprehension skills at your own pace.

Support for newcomers and English learners to build the language skills needed for work, school, and daily life.

Our Challenger, Endeavour, and Voyager programs offer further challenges for learners ready to take the next step.

Learners have free access to our classroom and library at 874 York Street.
